“Laugh Out Loud” helps families get counseling

5 P.M. | John “Hippieman” Novosad and Woody Vincent are two of the comedians performing for “Laugh Out Loud” at the Lakewood Cultural Center, 470 S. Allison Parkway. Proceeds go to MDS, a nonprofit center that provides counseling to families and individuals on a sliding scale. Doors open at 5 p.m. with a silent auction, appetizers and a cash bar. Tickets are $35. Happy birthday, Mozart, from Central City/Opera Colorado

7 P.M. | The Central City Opera and Opera Colorado 101 present a celebration of Mozart’s 250th birthday with a program highlighting Central City Opera’s upcoming production of “Don Giovanni” and Opera Colorado’s “The Abduction From the Seraglio” at the Denver Central Library, 100 W. 14th Ave. Parkway. The program is free.
