The freeheeling knee-dippers descend on Ski Cooper on Saturday with the humble hill’s first Telefest. An uphill rally, slalom race and telecross contest are planned, with the latter certainly providing some carnage. Ski Cooper’s gentle slopes have long been popular among newbie freeheelers and Telefest promises fun for all levels. Twenty bucks delivers entry to all three races, lunch and two free post-fest drinks on the lively deck at Cooper’s Tennessee Pass Nordic Center. Lift tickets are $25 for contestants.
