Former Air Force quarterbacks coach Paul Hamilton is returning to the academy to coach the fullbacks, Air Force announced Thursday.
Hamilton coached at AFA from 1990-96, then was head coach at East Tennessee State from 1997-2003 and Elon College the next two seasons.

Air Force junior Chris Knaute set a school record at the NCAA swimming and diving championships in Atlanta on Thursday, finishing 13th in the 500-yard freestyle in 4 minutes, 20.00 seconds, breaking Drew Whiting’s time of 4:20.09 in 1993.
Boulder and Springs cyclists to race in France
Michael Friedman and Taylor Tolleson of Boulder and Danny Pate and Michael Creed of Colorado Springs are four of the 16 cyclists named to the U.S. team for the International Cycling Union World Championships in Bordeaux, France, April 13-16. All four will compete in the endurance division.
