Tequila with Sol.
Tequila-drinking for most of us is riddled with wild adventures and massive hangovers, but for the few that have a palate for it, you can pull up a stool at Aztec Sol.
With over 200 types of authentic tequilas, ranging from sweet to wood cask-conditioned, Aztec Sol has over two decades of tequila-slinging experience, and familial connections with the actual south-of-the-border brewers.
Four shots for $6 mean you’ll also indulge in their “local” comfort food – the kind of burritos you’d buy off the street.
It’s a neighborhood place: the kind that wants you to eat the worm, and live to talk about it.

Exercise your third eye.
Belmar wants you to beat any art critic at their own game.
When it comes to art, everything is subjective; but that doesn’t mean you couldn’t use a helping hand with exercising your critical eye and developing the way you digest visual art.
The Lab at Belmar has three “personal trainers” ready for you for a four-part series in art analyzation, including a warm up, a work out, and a cool down, all focused on giving you the skills to ask the right questions.
Advanced registration is required: they have a Tuesday and Thursday night session.

Sometimes, you don’t have to sacrifice quality for cost.
Are we just lucky that one of the best pizza places in the city (and now surrounding areas. Woooo!) offers a slice of pizza and a drink for $3?
