
Veronica Till is a senior at the Denver School of the Arts, where she is a creative-writing major.
Veronica splits her time during the school year between Clear Creek County and Denver. In Clear Creek, she has a radio show on KYGT-FM 102.7 during the Interstate 70 skier rush hour on Sunday mornings. Her show features a range of music, including recordings by young local artists.
A member of the teen choir at Montview Presbyterian Church in Denver, Veronica also volunteers as an assistant in the children’s choir at the church.
She is involved in rock climbing, kayaking, piano playing, reading, film and skiing.
She has taken Advanced Placement courses, including Spanish, chemistry and creative writing.
Veronica, a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist, has a 4.14 weighted grade-point average.
She is interested in attending Northwestern University or the University of Colorado at Boulder and pursuing a double major in journalism and teaching, with a possible emphasis on outdoor education.
This summer, Veronica plans to attend the National Outdoor Leadership School in Wyoming.
