Denver police are warning drivers about potential traffic delays downtown Wednesday morning, due to an anticipated walkout by large numbers of students.

The students will be protesting proposed immigration reform measures.

Police say the potential for traffic delays will be at its peak between 9 and 11 a.m, and encourage drivers to find alternate routes and times if travelling downtown.

The students will be marching to the state Capitol.

Colfax and Speer are expected to be particularly full of pedestrians.
