“Simply Ming” video podcasts on iTunes
Ming Tsai is the Emmy
Award-winning celebrity chef who grew up eating and preparing his family’s Mandarin and Hunan recipes. Tsai now hosts the public-TV cooking show “Simply Ming,” and runs Blue Ginger, a bistro-style restaurant outside of Boston. He’s also the latest high-profile chef to join the MP3 revolution. Last month, “Simply Ming” cooking primers on such simple subjects as selecting wine or filleting fish hit the iTunes Music Store, allowing foodies to download the free instructional cooking videos. “We’re practically putting a personal chef in your pocket,” Tsai said in a statement. To find the free “Simply Ming” shows, go to the iTunes Music Store, click on podcasts, then “Public Broadcasting.” |Elana Ashanti Jefferson
