Author of Alzheimer’s book, PBS documentary to speak

7-9 p.m. | The Alzheimer’s Association is presenting a free program featuring author David Shenk, who will speak in Hamilton Recital Hall at the Newman Performing Arts Center, 2344 E. Iliff Ave. Shenk has written “The Forgetting,” a book on Alzheimer’s disease that was also made into an Emmy-winning PBS documentary. A discussion and book signing follows.
