Rockies first baseman Todd Helton was released from Rose Medical Center on Monday and is resting at home. No diagnosis of his condition was released.


The Rockies issued a statement saying they expected a diagnosis to be released on Tuesday.


Manager Clint Hurdle talked with Helton on Monday and said, ”He’s doing better.”


Helton was admitted to Rose Medical Center on Friday, complaining of intense stomach cramping and a high fever.
