Spiritual, culinary and literary leader Oprah Winfrey might be the most popular figure in history, but can she defend herself from her newest foe, a former crack slinger who’s been shot nine times – and survived? That’d be 50 Cent, who is upset at Winfrey because she’s not gangsta and rarely has rappers on her show.

“I think she caters to older white women,” 50 Cent said. “So, I could care less about Oprah or her show.” His resentment is shared by actor-rapper Ludacris, who told GQ that the talk-show queen edited out some of his comments when he was on the show last year. No comment from Winfrey.

“If Angelina Jolie gives birth in Namibia, she would have done for our tourism sector what our tourism board budget cannot do in a year.” So says Hopelong Iipinge, Namibia’s ambassador to the United States, on the attention Jolie and Brad Pitt have brought to his young republic, which won its independence from South Africa in 1990.

So, Heather Locklear and rocker hubby Richie Sambora are divorcing. Heather’s friend David Spade tells Us Weekly that the actress is not happy. “All I know is she’s home nursing her knife wounds in the back tonight,” Spade said, adding that Locklear thinks her friend Denise Richards has eyes for Sambora. The circle is complete: Spade, who’s so good at playing lovable wussies, has won Locklear’s heart as the man who’s always been “there for her.” “I’m just lucky to know someone that’s that sweet and pretty,” Spade told the magazine.

“I find people that are honest sexy,” Oscar winner Halle Berry tells TV show “Extra.” “Even if they’re saying something I personally don’t want to hear, I still find honesty really sexy.” The “X-Men” star said she would definitely adopt a baby “if it doesn’t happen for me naturally.”

Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable and emotionally naked, the great acting teacher Lee Strasberg told thespians. It’s a lesson that won’t be lost on the stars of Fox Reality’s new show, “My Bare Lady,” in which American porn stars travel to London to act in a West End theater production. The audience decides which starlet performs best in three one-hour episodes. “It’s a wonderful tale of redemption,” Fox Reality general manager David Lyle said, implying that porn actors are somehow unredeemed. Mocking the vocation of Jenna Jameson, he said: “Do they want lines that are more challenging than, ‘Oh, here’s the pool guy’?”

Kellie Pickler isn’t surprised she was voted off “American Idol” last week. The 19-year-old waitress from Albemarle, N.C., says she did feel stung by people making fun of her accent, her malaprops and her inexperience. But overall, Pickler says, her time on the hugely popular TV show transformed her life.

She attributes the transformation to her wrenching decision to lay out the painful details of her life, which include a runaway mom and a father in prison. Pickler says she’s no longer ashamed of her life. She’s looking forward to her father’s release from prison today, and she’s forgiven her mother.
