The Downtown Denver Partnership was expected to honor seven winners at its 45th annual Downtown Denver Awards dinner Tuesday.
The honorees included Civil Technology Inc.; Comedy Works; the Ellie Caulkins Opera House; Rockmount Ranch Wear; the Denver Convention Center Hotel Authority for the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center; and the relocation of the Platte Substation and enhancement of Confluence Park.
Longtime downtown developer Mickey Zeppelin was recognized with the Rickenbaugh Community Service Award.
“I believe the winners this year reflect a really solid cross section of all the things that are happening to make downtown a great place to live and work,” said Tami Door, the partnership’s president and chief executive.
“I think they emphasize the point that it takes a lot of different programs and projects to make a great city.”
More than 1,100 attendees were expected at the dinner celebration, held at the Hyatt Regency.
