Brewpub festival
The fifth annual Festival of the Brewpubs will be today at Arapahoe Basin, with beer tasting from noon to 4 p.m.; lifts open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; a DJ from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and live music from 1 to 4 p.m. Five local breweries will be on hand for samplings and $15 buys a collector’s mug and unlimited tastings while supplies last. Must be 21 or older to purchase mug.

Estes Park Art Market
The Art Market will be in Estes Park’s Bond Park May 28-29. The Park is in the center of Estes Park, west of the Municipal building. There will be fine arts and crafts, including paintings, photography, wood art, sculpture, glass, jewelry, ceramics, fiber, textiles, leather and more. The Art Market’s hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 27 and 28, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 29. Admission is free. Call the Art Center at 970-586-5882.
Leadville railroad to open
On Memorial Day weekend, the Leadville Colorado and Southern Railroad will open for its 20th season. The train uses a 1955 diesel engine to haul passengers up and down the historic line, and it stops just short of the Climax Molybdenum Mine. See wildflowers, wildlife and scenery from 11,000 feet on the train. Call 866-386-3936.
Hikes to Mug House
