The Sculpture Trail at Lyons
All around Lyons, through Oct. 22
sculpturetrail.com
Pick up a $2 guidebook at The Barking Dog Cafe or the Stone Cup Cafe and then spend the next couple of hours following Lyons’ grass-roots art trail to every nook and cranny in town. This year, there are 60 sculptures hidden along the trail. Make sure to pay special attention to No. 55, “The Sandstone Egg Arrives,” an 8-foot-tall orb made by Raul Vasquez and planted in Sandstone Park, a la Andy Goldsworthy.
