Star Jones Reynolds is trying again to sell her upper East Side penthouse after first putting it on the market a year ago, the New York Daily News’ Lloyd Grove reported. Jones and her hubby, Al Reynolds, first listed the triplex $2.5 million, but since reduced the price $250,000 for the three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath condo. Photos of the apartment are listed at corcoran.com, the site for the Corcoran Group, which is listing the home. The pics are from Architectural Digest’s October 2003 issue, Jones’ PR flack told Grove. Jones may be “motivated” after rumors she may not return to “The View” in December.
Madonna concerts tend to be hot, and not just because of the sensuous dancers. The pop star is asking for minimal air conditioning at her concert venues, the Arizona Republic reported. “She requested to keep it at a warm temperature,” Staples Center executive Michael Roth said about Saturday’s concert in Los Angeles. Glendale Arena in suburban Phoenix hosts Madonna’s “Confessions” tour tonight and Saturday. Temperatures in the arena may be set at 80 degrees, 10 more than normal.
Unlike her song “My Simple Humble Neighborhood,” Carole King’s Boise, Idaho, ranch apparently is not just a cozy house on the corner. The legendary singer-songwriter is selling her 128-acre ranch in the White Cloud Mountains for a $19 million asking price, The Associated Press reported. The secluded Robinson Bar Ranch compound includes a 7,000-square-
foot lodge, King’s two-bedroom home, a caretaker’s home, a professional recording studio, guest cabins and horse barns. The property also includes two natural hot pools, and several buildings are heated by geothermal springs. King, 64, has lived in Idaho since 1977 and plans to keep her condominium in Ketchum and homes in California and New York, where she was born.
