Sterling Jewelers, the parent company of Kay Jewelers, has reached an agreement with federal authorities to pay almost $1.3 million in back wages to thousands of employees in 41 states. The settlement includes Kay Jewelers stores at Mesa Mall in Grand Junction and at Durango Mall in Durango.
