Britney Spears likes to say her marriage to Kevin Federline is “awesome.” But on a recent vacation to Florida’s Aqua Island, Spears spent $250,000 to stay in separate houses, In Touch Weekly reported. “She did it to get away from Kevin,” a “friend” told the magazine. Federline jet-skied solo in South Beach and later that night made a scheduled appearance at Mansion. K-Fed partied with eight friends, drank Cristal champagne, and danced until 3:30 a.m. at the Miami Beach nightclub, In Touch reported.
Lindsay Lohan appears to be at war with more people than the U.S. Army. Paris Hilton is miffed at Lohan, who reportedly has been hanging out with Hilton’s ex, Stavros Niarchos. At a private concert by Prince at Butter a week ago, Lohan left her table and “followed Paris to the bathroom” and an argument ensued, a witness told the New York Daily News. When Lohan returned she discovered Sean Combs and his posse squeezed into her table. Words were exchanged – Lohan’s camp said she was joking – but Diddy’s security and club bouncers escorted her to a booth.
Madonna, at least for one night, cleaned up her concert act because her father was in the audience. The singer repeatedly has used the f-word, flipped her middle finger at the crowd, reaching inside her pants, and suggested people perform a lewd act on President Bush. But at a recent show in Chicago, Madonna “gave the crowd the finger only one time and never once said the f-word,” a source told MSNBC.com’s Jeannette Walls. “At one point, she actually asked the audience to applaud extra loud for her so that her dad would know she made something of herself. The crowd went wild.”
The rumor mill is churning up more talk that Prince Albert may be closer to a marriage proposal to girlfriend Charlene Wittstock. Albert, 48, introduced Wittstock to the Monaco establishment recently, including a visit with the Archbishop of Monaco, Bernard Barsi. Wittstock, 28, also was spotted picking out a ring at a famous jeweler with one of Albert’s aides. Hello! magazine’s website reported.
Tom Cruise admitted in a red-carpet interview for the premiere of his film, “Mission: Impossible 3” in Japan he expects to marry fianceé Katie Holmes before 2007. Cruise told “Extra,” “We haven’t set a date yet. Soon. It’ll be this year.” Either way, he won’t beat his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, down the aisle. Kidman is expected to marry country music star Keith Urban Sunday in Australia.
Robert Evans is heading for divorce No. 7. Victoria White O’Gara, filed for divorce June 16 in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences, according to People magazine. The legendary film producer and White O’Gara, 43, married last August in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Space limits us listing all of Evans’ wives, but they include Ali MacGraw, former Miss America Phyllis George and Catherine Oxenberg.
Heidi Klum and Seal are expecting their second child. The couple, married a year ago, have a 9-month-old son, Henry Guenther Ademola Dashtu Samuel. Klum also has a 2-year-old daughter, Leni, from a previous relationship. Seal performed in Denver Saturday.
Elisabeth Shue and her husband, Davis Guggenheim, welcomed a baby girl, Agnes Charles, on Sunday, People magazine reported. The couple also have a son, Miles, 8, and a daughter, Stella, 5.
