The Denver Post’s exemplary epicurean Tucker Shaw recently lamented the dearth of virtue surrounding meals in the car. True that. But sometimes a solo traveler, wary of touching – forget eating from – the tables in fast-food joints, eschews victual virtue for the comfy embrace of a bucket seat and greasy steering wheel. We here on the OE team have logged too many meals on wheels, as evidenced by the funk – beyond the George Clinton variety – in our Toyotas and our unmatched knee-steering skills.
