Meese
This local indie quintet, led by brothers Patrick and Nathan Meese, is poised to blow up beyond our city with its irresistible blend of melodic vocals and chiming hooks. On Saturday they will debut new songs at The Walnut Room, with Josh Novak and Nathan Johnson. 3131 Walnut St. 9 p.m. $6.
King Rat
The punk and hardcore-friendly Three Kings Tavern will host Denver punk royalty King Rat on Saturday, with Chesterfield and T.S.R.. 60 S. Broadway. 9 p.m. $5.
Larimer Lounge BBQ
Country boys Local 33 will headline another excellent Larimer Lounge barbecue lineup on Sunday, with help from Out on Bail, Munly & The Lee Lewis Harlots, Born in the Flood, Laylights, Cowboy Curse, Greatroom Victorian and After the Party. 1:30 p.m. $8.
