Jose Acevedo combined with two relievers to shut out the Fresno Grizzlies as the visiting Colorado Springs Sky Sox earned a 4-0 victory in a Pacific Coast League game.

Acevedo (3-6, 4.94 ERA) gave up six hits and struck out four Grizzlies in seven innings Sunday. Acevedo hasn’t walked a batter in his past three starts.

The Sky Sox’s offense featured Jason Smith, who hit his second homer of the year, a two-run shot in the second inning, and Ryan Spilborghs, who had two doubles.

The Sky Sox finished their series with the Grizzlies with back-to-back shutouts – Sun-Woo Kim (5-3, 3.73) pitched a three-hitter Saturday in an 11-0 rout – and are on a break because of the Triple-A All-Star Game, which is Wednesday at Fifth Third Field in Toledo, Ohio. The Sky Sox (39-52) are in last place in their PCL division, 16 1/2 out.
