Saturday marks the annual Continental Divide TrailFest in Buena Vista, the annual confab aiming to assist in the completion of the 3,100-mile trail. Guides, who will work for free, will lead 12 hikes and one mountain-bike ride – all with varying degrees of difficulty – along sections of the Continental Divide Trail overlooking the Arkansas River Valley. A pancake breakfast, outdoor booths, a kids daylong adventure program at BV’s Columbine Park and an end-of-the-day feed with live music round out the festivities.
