Kansas City, Mo. – AMC Entertainment Inc. said Thursday it is adding earlier shows and cheaper tickets.
The Kansas City-based company said it will begin showing movies at its 321 U.S. and Canadian theaters before noon for between $1 and $4 less than the regular matinee prices.
A test in the spring of the A.M. Cinema program at theaters in Denver; Charlotte, N.C.; Kansas City; and Columbus, Ohio, showed a general increase in attendance, the company said.
