Janet charltonshollywood.com reports Timberlake sought a break-up before his concert tour started, but Diaz, according to an insider, “freaked. She won’t let go. She had a wedding to go to in Europe and had to have an escort.” The source also claims Diaz is unhappy with Timberlake’s opening act – Nelly Furtado. “Nelly is hot and Justin is fond of her,” the source said.
Timberlake’s former ‘NSync bandmate Lance Bass admitted in an interview with People magazine that he is gay. The New York Post reported previously Bass, 27, and openly gay “Amazing Race” winner Reichen Lehmkuhl, 32, were spotted during the July Fourth weekend at Atlantic House, a gay bar in Provincetown, Mass.
Alexa Joel hopes her mother, Christie Brinkley, does not accept the apology from fourth husband Peter Cook. The New York Post’s Cindy Adams reported Cook begged Brinkley to take him back after he had affairs with two teenage women, including a personal assistant. A friend of Joel, 20-year- old daughter of rock star Billy Joel, told the Post’s Braden Keil, “(Cook has) been very cold and mean to (Alexa). It’s the main reason why she moved out when she was just 17.” Cook reportedly refused to give Alexa, who does not drive, a ride home when she called at 11 p.m. one night several years ago, the insider claimed. Cook allegedly told Alexa to “walk home” and “never call this house at this time of night again.” Alexa has lived in Manhattan since. Meanwhile, another Brinkley family insider claims the former supermodel is not ready to forgive her hubby for his two-year affair with his aide Diana Bianchi. A family member told the New York Daily News: “(Brinkley) has to be careful because they did a prenuptial agreement. She can’t say anything bad because the prenup will be broken.”
