Colorado State Parks has secured ownership of the entrance area to Pearl Lake State Park with the purchase of a 37.53-acre parcel.
Acquired with approximately $470,000 in funding from the Colorado Lottery, the parcel also ensures that park views aren’t obstructed by development.
The park is 23 miles north of Steamboat Springs and has as its centerpiece a 190-acre lake that contains a variety of fish species. Nonmotorized boating is allowed.
