First Industrial Realty Trust Inc. paid about $2 million for a 49,968-square-foot warehouse on 2.3 acres at 59th Avenue and Broadway.
It’s the fourth Denver acquisition this year for the Chicago-based real estate investment trust. The REIT now owns more than 7.6 million square feet of industrial real estate in the Denver market.
The building at 5909-5915 Broadway is fully occupied by three tenants: Perfection Flooring, Majestic Hearth, and Venturi.
“It’s in a very tight submarket,” said Graham Riley, First Industrial’s regional director in Denver. “It has good access to I-25 and there is very little land available for new competition.”
