TOP TUCKER
Dewey’s Bar & Grill
41611 Marble Ave., Stoneham
970-735-2747
Owing to its location in the middle of nowhere, the dusty town of Stoneham looks to be a little down on its luck. But it’s our good fortune that Margie and Jerry Samber have tucked Dewey’s into an old-style saloon building. Open Wednesday-Saturday for dinner, it entices folks from all over northeast Colorado to sample Margie’s pan-fried chicken on Wednesdays. Make a reservation if you want a slab of prime rib or a steak on Friday or Saturday; it’s just good country manners.
