GADGET|The Kensington RDS FM Transmitter/Car Charger ($89.99) is a nice addition to my collection of adapters because it can charge my iPod while it’s plugged into the car lighter. On top of that, the transmitter song and artist information can be transmitted from the iPod to the display of the car radio. And you can play your iPod on the car stereo while it’s plugged into the charger, using Kensington’s ClearFM technology. The car radio must be enabled with radio data system (RDS) technology, which normally allows an FM radio broadcaster to send text messages on an FM subfrequency.|Dean Takahashi, San Jose Mercury News
