University of Colorado senior point guard Marcus Hall has been declared academically ineligible for the fall semester and will not play before January, when his eligibility will be re-evaluated.
“Marcus will be able to use the semester to focus solely on academics, giving him the opportunity to receive his degree from the University of Colorado,” basketball coach Ricardo Patton said in a statement.
Hall, who started 23 games last season, led the team with 124 assists and averaged 8.7 points.
Meanwhile, women’s basketball coach Kathy McConnell-Miller said guard RyAnne Ridge, who played for McCon nell-Miller at Tulsa, will transfer to CU. Ridge will sit out this season and have two years of eligibility.
