Optimism’s your word for the week.
Stay on the sunny side of Love Avenue and you’ll stand a good chance of meeting someone fun and interesting. You need to be cheerful, upbeat and just this side of scary manic if you want to impress those you meet.
You could find a person or two to play with in all the usual places, but you’ll stand a better chance of connecting if you go somewhere new. This means leaving the sanctity of the familiar and embracing new, novel ideas. This could translate as a foray to a new cultural event or a place you wouldn’t usually go. Whatever the case, don’t feel out of place or you’ll look that way. In other words, if you decide to go the ballet in a Broncos sweatshirt, sell the look.
The whole week has potential for romantic happiness.
Taurus, April 20 to May 20
Pull hard on the reigns of the steed of romance.
There’s a powerful energy dragging you into a possible love tryst. This may be something you desire but it may also be the type of situation that gets complicated. Usually I try to weigh the complications against the benefits, carefully size up the pros and cons and make a deliberation.
This week it’s all up to you. I’m here to warn you about the possibility and the issues that could evolve as time goes on. Put on your referee outfit because you’re going to have to make the call. It could be a close one due to the libidinous energies bubbling inside of you. (I’ve found that wearing a referee shirt and yelling out “backfield in motion,” works well when it comes to love.)

Gemini, May 21 to June 20
Be on the lookout for a flare-up of romantic ardor.
You’ll be hot to trot and you could find yourself in a race for the prize. This may involve more than one new person so be extra ready to flash your winning smile for all to see. Find a party to flaunt your sexy wares and look confident.
This would also be a great time to get on the Internet and pound the keys in order to find someone to dally with via electronic media. If you’ve had any doubts about being able to convince others that you’re worth getting to know, this week should dispel such doubts. Just do it and you’ll see.
Wednesday through Saturday will be the best days to play.
Cancer, June 21 to July 22
Everything points to a professional love affair.
I’m not alluding to the oldest profession, rather to the possibility of getting involved on the work scene. This may be forbidden, making it all the more fun and interesting, but don’t let that be the driving force behind your decision to play or not to play.
If you do decide to photocopy each other’s naughty danglies, make sure you’ve taken all the proper precautions, both physically and politically. Your libido could lead you to do something you really shouldn’t, at least not in the Custodian’s closet. (It’s very hard to get the scent of pine cleaner out of your hair. Be warned.)
Think about what you do, and if you do do, do it with care.

Sometimes you Leo’s make everyone else really mad.
This is one of those weeks that could have you the recipient of ire due to your unbelievable luck with love and romance. Yes, you could get lucky, more than once, with almost no repercussions or responsibility. I’m counting to ten now.
While you’re living a charmed love life, take mercy on those of us who only get to bask in the glow or your magical auras. In other words, have fun and don’t be afraid to share that fun with those who can use it the most. Be gentle, careful and have a good time.
Whatever you do and with whom, try to keep in mind that this energy won’t last forever so don’t abuse it.

Virgo, August 23 to September 22

This isn’t going to be the easiest time you’ve had when it comes to love. This could be the result of not trying enough or trying too hard. Only you know which is the most likely candidate. The key to changing the week’s energy is to change your own. This may mean taking a sabbatical from love, or it may be the time to increase your efforts.
I know. It seems like I’m hedging my bet but I’m really not. You’ve got to change your energy level, one way or another and, as I said earlier, you know which it is. By the way, you could meet someone after Wednesday who needs your energy in his or her life. Be cautious but indulge your emotions a bit.
Wednesday through Saturday will be good for shifting gears.
Libra, September 23 to October 22
Keep your head above the waters of love and you could have a swimmingly delightful week.
This will be a good time to indulge your indulgences and to enjoy the company of new love interests. If you haven’t had the opportunity to play in a while, this is the week to break that fast, leading to possibly sharing breakfast before it’s all said and done.
You’ll be able to draw good prospects to you; especially if you keep in mind that the time is right. This means letting go of thoughts that may keep you from succeeding. No negativity allowed in any way, shape or form. Likewise, if you meet up with someone who’s a sourpuss, put him or her on the back burner. They just won’t do at this time.
The whole week looks good for enjoying the view.
Scorpio, October 23 to November 21
Give it an E for effort.
You’ll be able to enjoy the world of romance if you put energy into the process. You won’t gain a new love interest if you sit and wish it to come to you. In fact, you’ll be waiting for quite a while if you adopt such a strategy. Be willing to venture into the world and find someone who may want to give you an A for performance.
This is one of those weeks that can be filled with love interests and maybe even some confusion. In order to minimize the confusion, be sure of what you want first, and then go for it. If you’re already in a relationship, put the aforementioned effort into the mix and you’ll be amazed at the results.
Thursday, Saturday and Sunday will be the best times to connect and reconnect.
Sagittarius, November 22 to December 21
A good time can be had.
Be cautious because you could be had as well. You have a great opportunity to connect on any level you’d like. You’ll also have the ability to lure interesting people who want more than the usual slap and tickle.
I’m sure you can sense a big but coming. (Snicker if you must, I know I did.)
The caveat is that you’ll also be a bit gullible when it comes to affairs of the heart. Being aware of that fact will help you to stay out of the way of trouble. Be willing to ask a few more questions than you usually might. This doesn’t open the door for an inquisition; unless the two of you are in agreement that it’s a fun way to spend the afternoon. You can find the truth without seeming to pry.
Your best days to meet someone worth playing with will be Tuesday and Thursday.
Capricorn, December 22 to January 19
This is a great time to take a chance.
If you’ve been put on the back burner, whether by your own decision or someone else’s, move to the forefront and get back into the heat. ‘Tis the time to indulge yourself, your fantasies and your sense of adventure. You’re probably conservative and prone to being careful, and this week shouldn’t be an exception to your nature. You should, however, be willing to take a step toward something different.
For example, if you detest sports, go to a sports establishment and partake of the rousing adrenaline that permeates the air. Wait, that’s the aroma of beer and hot wings. At any rate, give something novel a try. This would be the best time in months to go on a setup date of some sort. Enjoy the week and the week will enjoy you.
There isn’t a bad day for pushing the envelope.
Aquarius, January 20 to February 18
Be careful when playing with your heart.
There’s a chance of betrayal or deception in the romantic playing field. This may be a slip of a tongue, (to some, a fun thing) or a deliberate attempt to get in the way of your happiness. Is there someone at work who seems to be a meddler? Could it be that person who tries from time to time to get to know all about you, including the details of your personal life? Well, it could be them or someone you trust completely, so be careful.
That warning out of the way, you have at least one meeting with the possibility of fringe benefits coming your way. This could happen almost anywhere so don’t think that you’re immune to love, at least not this week. Look for a gentle smile and eyes that look deeply into your own and you’ll know it may be the right person.
Wednesday through the weekend will be good times to be involved but careful.
Pisces, February 19 to March 20
You ability to communicate will be the key to your happiness.
Be up front about your feelings and desires when conversing with prospective love interests. You feel from the depths of your soul, and this week it’s important for you to let those you connect see this part of you. Speak your truth, all except that part about the thing that happened in high school with the you know what, and you’ll be amazed at how well you’re received and understood. Equally important will be the ability to listen and figure out where the other person has been in romance.
This may take place in a real world relationship or it may happen on the Internet. Don’t let proximity get in the way of truth and heartfelt communication. Now, it doesn’t have to be all that serious. Playing is a definite option. Be safe both emotionally and physically before indulging.
