The Denver Police department issued an Amber Alert this evening concerning two 11-year-old boys.
Juan Jesus Cervantes and Gregory Madrigal were last seen at 3 p.m. today, when they left Lake Middle School at 18th and Lowell. Both children got into a white Honda-style vehicle – “Broncos sticker on rear bumper; rusty wheel rims; license is blue and white Colorado plate” – when one tried to exit, but the vehicle began to drive off with both children still inside, according to police.
Each child was last seen wearing a white shirt with a Lake Middle School logo of a knight on a horse as well as blue pants.
The suspect was reported to have shoulder-length hair “in the back mullet style” with a white-colored goatee and a white baseball-style cap.
