Joseph Blecha, his wife and stepdaughter may have visited Mesa Verde National Park before the murder-suicide that left all three dead, Castle Rock authorities said Thursday.

The bodies were found Tuesday in Lincoln County. A disposable camera in their home included recent photos from the park.

Joseph Blecha, 49, was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head about 40 yards from his burned-out truck. Investigators believe the shot was self- inflicted.

Autopsy results Thursday found that gunshots to the head killed Jacqueline Blecha, 46, and another female, believed to be her daughter, Ashley Martin, 15, before the bodies were burned.

Martin’s identity and the time and date of the deaths have not been conclusively established.
