MILWAUKEE-
A 13th person has been charged in the case of a girl who police say had illegal sexual contact with as many as 20 males while a 16-year-old girl coached her.
The latest–a 13-year-old boy–was charged with one count of party to the crime of first-degree sexual assault of a child, according to records. He was being held in secure detention. In July, he had been placed on probation for one year for auto theft.
Authorities said the boy refused to give a statement to police.
But the complaint said that he was implicated by another 13-year-old boy who was at the scene and has also been charged. Police have said they have identified at least four more suspects in the assaults.
According to court documents, the 16-year-old encouraged the 11-year-old girl to perform oral sex on men at her house during a party on Labor Day. Police eventually came to the door looking for the 11-year-old, who had been reported missing.
