The following recall has been announced:
— About 358,000 LEGO Explore Super Trucks, manufactured by LEGO Systems Inc., because the wheels on the truck can detach, exposing a metal axle that can be hazardous to children. The company received reports after two children were punctured by the metal axle. Another child fell when a wheel came off.
The red toy trucks are about 15 inches high and 19 inches wide with four black plastic wheels. Stickers on the front and sides depict a windshield, windows and doors. The LEGO Explore logo is printed on the door stickers. The truck’s cargo area contains a box of 40 LEGO DUPLO bricks, which is not included in the recall.

–About 31,500 cases of nacho tortilla chips, manufactured by Wise Foods, because the chips may contain soy as an ingredient, which can be allergenic to some consumers.
The nacho tortilla chips recalled come in the following brands and include those bags with up to and including the listed code dates: Wise, JAN2907; Bravo, JAN2907; Moore’s, JAN2907; Hannaford, NOV1306; Giant Gustados, NOV1306; Stop & Shop Gustados, NOV1306; and Tops Gustados, NOV1306. The code dates are at the top right of the bags.

–About 4,500 Candie’s brand children’s hoodie sweatshirts with drawstrings, manufactured by the Cayre Group, because the drawstrings through the hood pose a strangulation hazard to children. The company has received no reports of injuries.
The sweatshirts zip in the front and were sold in four youth sizes, S (7-8), M (9-12), L (14) and XL (16), and two colors, Blue Bell and Demitasse. The tag on the inside of the sweatshirt reads “Candie’s.” Kohl’s department stores and the Kohls.com Web site sold the sweatshirts nationwide from August 2006 until September 2006. –About 114,000 youth hooded sweatshirts, manufactured by Gildan Activewear SRL, because they have a drawstring through the hood and could pose a strangulation hazard. No injuries have been reported.
The fleece sweatshirts were sold in youth sizes Extra Small through Extra Large and have “Gildan Activewear” printed on the label. They were made in 12 different colors, and local shops often add logos or decals to the shirts.
