Playing at the North Area Athletic Complex, Palmer outscored Arvada West 21-14 in the fourth quarter to seal it.
Palmer, ranked No. 10 in The Denver Post/9News 5A poll, improved to 3-1 overall and in league. No. 8 Arvada West, which led 16-7 after a quarter, fell to 2-2.
DOUGLAS COUNTY 52, RANGEVIEW 7 at Castle Rock: Ryan Misare ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns as the Huskies won their 17th game in succession, a rout over the Raiders in the Continental League.
Douglas County, ranked No. 1 and the defending 5A champion, improved to 4-0 overall and in league.
The Huskies led 49-0 at halftime.
PLATTE CANYON 26, KENT DENVER 13 at Bailey: A.J. Melillo ran for 164 yards and two touchdowns as the Huskies erased an early deficit for a victory over the Sun Devils in the 2A Colorado League.
Platte Canyon, ranked No. 9, is 4-0, 2-0.
Kent Denver, which led 13-0 at one point, is winless (0-4, 0-1).
