Us Weekly magazine reported that Vaughn ended the relationship before he headed to London to film the Christmas comedy “Joe Clause.” “It’s not common knowledge, but we’re not together anymore. We’ve split up,” Vaughn, 36, is quoted by a magazine insider. A source close to Aniston confirmed: “They’re 100 percent done.”
Kevin Federline is back to his partying ways. Three weeks after wife Britney Spears gave birth to their second son, K-Fed headed to Las Vegas on a private jet for a booze-filled weekend at the Venetian hotel and casino, the Daily Mirror reported. Federline booked a table at Tao nightclub, drank Veuve Clicquot champagne and passed around the requisite cigars to celebrate his son’s birth, the tabloid reported. Realizing his wife might be peeved, K-Fed brought back a pair of diamond earrings. A friend told the Sun: “Kevin thought the earrings would make up for the fact that he left Britney with the kids all weekend. … She was livid that he even considered going in the first place. They are now barely speaking.”
Mel Gibson’s reps deny a National Enquirer story that the actor was spotted drinking beer in Austin, Texas. A source told the Enquirer, “I couldn’t believe my eyes. Mel Gibson was swigging a Bud with two adoring young women hanging on his every word.” Gibson, who has been to alcohol rehab after his arrest (and no-contest plea) on a drunken-driving charge, was in Austin for a screening of his new movie, “Apocalypto.” Gibson’s rep told MSNBC.com: “The story’s not true. He wasn’t drinking anything alcoholic.”
Anna Nicole Smith earned $1 million from People magazine for the rights to 30 photos of her, her attorney Howard K. Stern and baby Dannielynn, according to published reports. The photos were taken at Smith and Stern’s “commitment ceremony” last week. Smith reportedly got $375,000 from In Touch magazine for photos of her and 20-year-old son, Daniel, who died suddenly last month in the Bahamas.
Madonna apparently was given a waiver from the Malawi government on nonresident adoption as the pop star adopted a young boy from the impoverished African nation. Reuters reported Madonna left the Malawian capital Lilongwe on Wednesday after selecting a 1-year-old orphan from among 12 children. A government spokesperson said Madonna visited “four orphanages in Lilongwe” and initially wanted to adopt a girl but changed her mind two weeks ago.
Matt Lauer and his wife Annette Lauer are expecting their third child, but rumors the couple are divorcing continue. On Sept. 13, Annette filed a petition in Manhattan Supreme Court seeking to split from the “Today” anchor, a source told Star magazine. But the New York Daily News, citing another source, reported the couple has reconciled after parting ways last spring. In a joint statement, the couple said: “We’re not getting divorced.”
Farrah Fawcett has been diagnosed with cancer of the intestine, according to the National Enquirer. Fawcett, 59, already has received radiation treatment and is preparing for chemotherapy and surgery. Former husband Ryan O’Neal, the father of her two sons who battled leukemia in 2001, has been helping Fawcett, friends told the tabloid.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Maddox is enrolled in the David Beckham Soccer Academy in Los Angeles, the Sun reported. Pitt has asked the British soccer star to give Maddox, 5, his adopted son “a one-on-one tutorial,” a source told the British tabloid.
