NORTHGLENN – Police are looking for the driver of a dark-colored Ford or Dodge SUV who struck a pedestrian who was walking along southbound Interstate 25 on Friday night.
Michael Sintas, 43, was walking on the side of the highway when he was hit.
The SUV probably has damage to the passenger side and a missing side mirror.
A nurse stopped to give Sintas CPR at the scene of the crash. He was hospitalized with injuries.
Witnesses to the accident say that a man and a woman stopped on the side of the road after the accident but left as police arrived on the scene.
