Watch this Web video: This year’s best-actor award could go to escaped murderer Richard McNair, thanks to police-car video cams and YouTube. The New Yorker last week had a terrific piece about McNair, the only successful escapee from a maximum-security prison. The article describes a mesmerizing video where McNair is apparently caught by a Louisiana policeman just after escaping, but talks his way out of it with distraction and misdirection.
