Why are you running? Disenfranchised voters of both parties are wondering who hears their voice down at the Capitol. I stand with those people and will be their voice.

What are the top three challenges facing Colorado or the institution you seek to represent?

1. Investment in renewable energy is a top priority not only because it will help grow Colorado’s economy, but it will protect our environment for future generations.

2. Make sure our public school system is the strongest, best, and most innovative in the nation.

3. Find reasonable solutions to the health care crisis that brings all parties to the table and results in lower costs and better coverage for all Coloradans.

What is your top priority in the next session if you should win? To establish regular, well-publicized meetings keeping citizens informed about happenings at the Capitol and to keep me informed about the opinions of my constituents.

What proposal in the last session did you oppose the most? While I believe all American citizens should speak English, HCR06-1008 is an example of thoughtless, wedge-issue, political game playing at its worst.

What proposal in the last session did you agree with the most? SB-1 would have allowed Colorado to enter a multi-state prescription drug purchasing pool, saving the uninsured and the taxpayers money.
