The people of Colorado deserve to know that they are safe in their homes and schools and I will take the lead in developing a model program for regional security to ensure that all Coloradoans are safe and secure.
Those who are responsible for the regulation of our insurance, health care, and public utilities must be held to the highest standards of performance and accountability so that Colorado’s consumers are protected to the fullest extent of the law.
The attorney general is our first line of defense in the battle to protect consumers, small business and the economy and I will vigorously prosecute predatory mortgage lenders and “payday” lenders and will work with the leadership of the legislature to enact laws that provide better consumer protections for everyone.
