What’s in a name?
It’s next to impossible to pull off a surprise party, particularly when the guest list is a virtual Who’s Who of Denver. But when Margot Gilbert Frank threw a casino-themed bash in celebration of hubby Allan’s 75th birthday, only one person let the cat out of the bag.
And guess who it was?
“My wife spells her name M-A-R-G-O-T,” Allan said with a sly smile as 100 or so of his friends were seated in the banquet room of The Palm. “The ‘T’ is silent, but she’s not.”
