Silverthorne officials said police found “no credible threat” after a caused evacuations in a nearby neighborhood and condo complex, town officials said.
Bomb squads from the Jefferson County and Eagle County sheriff’s offices cleared The Block Hotel & Commons on Friday evening, several hours after town officials posted an alert about an “active threat” and evacuation at the hotel at 491 Rainbow Drive at 2:18 p.m.
Silverthorne officials evacuated the hotel, the River’s Edge Condominiums and the Summit Blue subdivision and issued a shelter-in-place order, which was lifted at 4:25 p.m.
“No credible threat was found in the building and there is no threat to the public,” Silverthorne officials said.
