First she conquered the Wild West, now it’s off to the Big East.
Cory Berliner, who pitched Rocky Mountain to the Class 5A state softball title last month, will officially sign with the University of Pittsburgh next Wednesday.
Berliner made official visits to Colgate, Pennsylvania and Delaware before deciding on the Panthers.
“It was just a combination of things,” said Berliner, who finished the season 18-1 for the Lobos. “The environment, the coaches, the academics and the girls were great. I just seemed to fit in.”
