KEYBANK: Appointed Michael B. Hobbs as president of its Rocky Mountain region. Hobbs replaces Michael H. Dulan, who was recently named business banking segment lead for KeyBank nationally and will relocate to Cleveland. Since 2005, Hobbs has served as president of KeyBank’s Colorado district.
UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO HOSPITAL: Dr. Steven Ringel has been named vice president for clinical effectiveness and patient safety. Ringel is currently a professor of neurology and director of the neuromuscular section of the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center’s School of Medicine. He also serves as president of the hospital’s medical board.
CHERRY CREEK NORTH BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT: Approved Melissa Oster, Casey Rosen and Amar Singh for three-year terms on the board of directors. Don Larrance was appointed to a two-year term. Chris Crosby and Lisa Tyler were reappointed to their positions. The board also approved Tyler as chairwoman and Crosby as vice chairman. Board member Rosella Louis will serve as secretary.
LOWRY REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY: Mayor John Hickenlooper appointed Derek Camunez, Denver Board of Realtors president; Milroy Alexander, executive director of Colorado Housing and Finance Authority; and Jim Stretz, senior vice president at George K. Baum & Co., to the board of directors.
DEVEREUX CLEO WALLACE: Welcomed Dr. Mai Nguyen, who has joined the staff as a full-time psychiatrist.
THE NATIONAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION ADMINISTRATION’S INSTITUTE FOR TELECOMMUNICATION SCIENCES: Announced that Randy Bloomfield, Eldon Haakinson (retired), Bruce Ward, Jeffrey Bratcher, DJ Atkinson, Andrew Thiessen, Val Pietrasiewicz, Ken Tilley and Eric Nelson received a group gold medal from the Department of Commerce recently for their efforts to enhance public-safety communications. In addition, Brent Bedford, John Ewan and J. Randy Hoffman received a group silver medal for scientific/engineering achievement.
