Katie Holmes didn’t take too kindly to new friend Victoria Beckham’s (above) dietary tips. The overly skinny wife of British soccer star David Beckham helped Holmes lose her baby weight. But a spy told the New York Post, “Victoria maintains her tiny frame because she only permits herself to snack – not eat – on edamame, pretzels and occasionally sushi.” Beckham also is a Diet Coke fanatic and told friends she has not drunk water in years because she “hates the taste.”
Jay-Z and Beyoncé continue to be the most mystifying celebrity couple we know. They arrived together at the one-year anniversary last weekend of the rapper’s 40/40 Club in Atlantic City, N.J., but walked the red carpet separately, the New York Daily News reported. Inside the couple sipped Jay-Z’s new signature champagne to celebrate his new album “Kingdom Come” and a seven-city concert tour.
Gordon Ramsay admitted at his 40th birthday party bash he has some family competition in the culinary business. Ramsay’s stunning 31-year-
old wife recently launched her cookbook, “Tana Ramsay’s Family Kitchen.” “Unfortunately it’s doing really well,” Gordon jokingly told a Hello! magazine reporter. “It bugs the hell out of me.” Tana revealed her expletive- spewing husband has a soft side. “He doesn’t shout and swear all the time at home, so I don’t see that side of him. The time when he’s most relaxed is lying on the floor with kids crawling all over him, just being daddy.” The Ramsays have three daughters – Megan, Matilda and Holly – and son Jack, who is Holly’s twin brother.
Dustin Hoffman and Will Ferrell greeted guests including Dan Abrams, Candace Bushnell, Lauren Weisberger, David Zinczenko and Rachel Sklar at a private screening of their new film, “Stranger Than Fiction,” last week as waiters served sushi and wine. But as the screening was to start, the New York Post reports, Hoffman beseeched the servers: “What are you doing here? You need to be inside!” The actor then ushered the waiters into the theater, where they sat in their uniforms (with their trays) and watched the film.
