The family of Frank Bingham, whose wife and children were killed Nov. 10 by a hit-and-run driver, released the following note of appreciation today. (“Dace” is the maiden name of Bingham’s late wife, Rebecca.)
The Bingham and Dace families would like to offer heartfelt thanks to the Denver community for all of the prayers and support we have received. From the many friends, pastors, police officers, and medical staff who gave up sleep to be with us and went out of their way to assist in every possible manner, to those of you who grieved silently with us from afar.
Whether we spoke with you personally, heard accounts of your expressions of sadness over our loss, or simply felt the greatness of your prayers, we appreciate you all.
Thank you to those of you who provided meals and flowers to feed our bodies and our spirits, and those of you who made contributions to the Bingham memorial library and memorial fund. Thank you to so many of you who took time out of your lives to celebrate Becca, Macie and Garrison’s lives with us at the visitation and the memorial. Thank you to the many well-wishers who were not able to join us but were with us in spirit.
We have truly felt blessed by your presence and pray that the Holy Spirit will bring us all comfort.
