A federal judge in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has rejected an attempt by EchoStar Communications Corp. to delay the date it must stop providing distant feeds of network programming to thousands of its satellite TV customers.
U.S. District Judge William Dimitrouleas said Monday that the feeds must end Dec. 1 as ordered because there was not sufficient reason to change the order.
Douglas County-based Echo- Star, which operates Dish Network, is being barred from offering ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox network feeds to 900,000 clients.
