COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY: Professor Jay Breidt, chairman of the department of statistics, was appointed by U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao to serve a three-year term on the Federal Economic Statistics Advisory Committee.

LOWRY REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY: Announced Kimball Crangle has been named executive director of the Lowry Community Land Trust, a nonprofit organization created by the authority to administer workforce housing programs.

ASPEN SKIING COMPANY: Announced the promotion of David Perry, senior vice president, mountain division; Rich Burkley, vice president, mountain operations; and Jeanne Mackowski, vice president marketing.

THE GROUP INC: Announced that Josh Rand has been awarded the EcoBroker Certified Designation by EcoBroker International. The EcoBroker Certified Designation is awarded to real-estate professionals who have completed advanced courses on the energy and environmental issues that affect real-estate transactions.
