Celebration Ale, $8.29 a six-pack, $15.99 a 12-pack
There aren’t many “great” beers out there, but this is one of them.
Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale is one of the best from a California brewery noted for its quality products, including its flagship Pale Ale.
Celebration Ale, whose ingredients change from year to year, is a high-alcohol (6.8 percent by volume) winter warmer dry hopped with Cascade, Centennial and Chinook hops that give it a definite sense of bitterness. The color is an eye-pleasing deep reddish-orange.
Its hop content and high alcohol makes this a beer to keep around for awhile, if you can wait that long.
