A problem with an overhead rail electrification wire caused delays with RTD’s light-rail system Monday afternoon, agency officials said.
The wire failed near the 10th and Osage station on the southwest line at mid-afternoon forcing officials to use one track, alternately, for both north- and southbound train service, Regional Transportation District spokesman Scott Reed said.
The limited service caused train slowdowns that lasted into the evening rush hour, Reed said.
