Eugene, Ore. – Eleanor Haring had 18 points and eight rebounds to help Oregon defeat Colorado 70-60 on Saturday in the Pape Jam tournament at the Rose Garden Arena.
Kaela Chapdelaine added 16 points for the Ducks (6-1), who have won four straight. Jackie McFarland had 14 points for Colorado (5-5), which has lost three straight.
Whitney Houston’s layup and free throw with 3:10 left got the Buffaloes within 60-51, but it was as close as they would come.
ILLINOIS-CHICAGO 58, AIR FORCE 57 at Chicago: Despite trailing for most of the game, Illinois-Chicago rallied to top Air Force at the UIC Pavilion.
Ill.-Chicago (4-5) grabbed a 52-51 lead with more than five minutes remaining, but the teams went scoreless for almost the next three minutes.
Air Force (3-6) took a 55-52 lead, but the Flames grabbed their final lead with less than a minute remaining. Pamela Findlay and Lauren Henderson led the Falcons with 14 points apiece.
COLORADO STATE 76, SAN JOSE STATE 57 at Fort Collins: Colorado State (4-5) got 18 points from Molly Nohr in a rout of San Jose State (0-10) at Moby Arena. Freshman Juanise Cornell had a career-high 15 points for the Rams. Marilyn Moulton got her first career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
WYOMING 69, WESTERN STATE 56 at Casper: Megan McGuffey scored 26 points, hitting all six of her 3-point attempts, to lead Wyoming to a come-from-behind win over Division II WSU. The Cowgirls (7-2) trailed at halftime, but took a 46-45 lead after McGuffey’s 3-pointer with 13:42 left. Western State fell to 3-5.
CAL STATE-FULLERTON 75, UNC 63 at Fullerton, Calif.: UNC (2-7) outshot Cal St.-Fullerton (4-6) from the floor, but had 21 turnovers. Heather Barbour led UNC with 16 points.

Diana Lopez scored 21 points to lead Regis (5-3, 2-0) to an easy 87-43 victory over host CSU-Pueblo (3-5, 1-1) at the State Fair Events Center. Jacque Machesney and Denise Lopez each added 17 points for Regis.
Colorado Mines (0-5) got 22 points from Iva Tomova and 18 points from Emily Dalton in a 71-44 rout of visiting Colorado College.
CU-Colorado Springs (1-6, 1-1) scored with :38 seconds remaining and got 17 points from Dolly Fiedelman in its first win of the season, 59-56 over host Adams State (2-6, 0-2).
Allison Piekarski scored 21 points to lead Mesa State (6-2, 1-1) over Colorado Christian (2-5, 0-2) 72-64 at Brownson Arena in Grand Junction.
