Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat, $6.99 six-pack
Late fall is an odd time to release a wheat beer, a style usually reserved for the blistering months of summer. Leinenkugel s Sunset Wheat came out in March but is just reaching Colorado as the Wisconsin brewer expands its distribution. Sunset Wheat, winner of a silver medal in its class at the most recent Great American Beer Festival, has a pronounced citrus aroma, either from the presence of coriander or some sweetener, and is highly carbonated.
